Day 59 (19/11/2014): Another Boring Food Photo...
The great thing about this challenge is just that - it challenges you. It challenges you to look at things in different way. It challenges you to keep things new and interesting. It challenges you to create opportunities and to get out and about seeing new places. It challenges you to do new things. It challenges you to LIVE a life to the FULL.
And that's all well and good and the way I do try to live my life and most certainly one of the reasons I decided to undertake this challenge, but unfortunately, in this profession, that is not always possible. And during weeks of death by APP, report writing, Parents' Evenings, open classes, etc, etc, etc, survival and basically getting through each day is all you can manage in the hours you are given.
So unfortunately, today's photo is a boring one and that will just have to do. (Ugh, not a phrase I am familiar with using!)

Day 54 (14/11/2014): Gezellig Times with Cath
An evening round at Cath's catching up after a very long time. A wonderful way to end the working week! :)

Day 51 (11/11/2014): The Day of Cakes
Two cakes from one of the children in my class on the same day as the school CAKE DAY (in which it was a three day cake day as opposed to a one day cake day and basically the best kind of school day possible) So FIVE in total! (Had already gobbled two down by the time this was taken at approximately midday! Whoops!) My golly, this was pretty much the best Tuesday of my entire existence! :D

Day 48 (8/11/2014): Remember, Remember the 5th November
During my two years of living in Korea, I really missed Bonfire Night and I got quite home-sick around that time both years. I missed warming my hands up on the big blazing bonfire, the mesmerizing fireworks display, the smell in the air, the getting bundled up in your favourite hat, scarf and gloves, the way the sky lights up all evening long, writing your name with sparklers, the hotdogs and the treacle toffee and basically, the whole nostalgia of it all - the fact that this is what you do every year, despite the rain and the cold because, well, you just do.
Albeit a few days later, it is, much to my delight, celebrated here with a fireworks event at the Senior School. Unfortunately I was unable to attend last year so I was very excited that I was able to go along with friend this year. Although it wasn't quite the same as celebrating in Manchester, as I always have before, it was a lot of fun and an evening thoroughly enjoyed by all of us! :)

Day 42 (2/11/2014): See You Soon....
The most terribly taken photo (look at that hand wave blur! EURGH!) of two of the people I love most in the world waving me off at the airport as I was practically running off to go through security after arriving at the airport with only about 40 minutes to catch my flight! These goodbyes are never easy but helped by the fact I know it won't be too long before I see them both again. Such a lovely time at home! Back to work tomorrow...
Day 41 (1/11/2014): All This, Plus More Tea, The Best Chocolate Cake Ever and WEDDING TALK!
Everything about this photo screams JOY! (...Except that my toast came with coleslaw instead of butter. That was just plain weird!) This was the first of many bride/bridesmaids meet-ups and a time of exciting wedding talk and complete giddiness! I'm so excited and honoured to be part of such a special time. A bloomin marvellous Saturday afternoon with my oldest and dearest friends <3 <3 <3
Day 40 (31/10/2014): Breakfast At Slattery's
Friday was GLORIOUS! Slattery's with Mum for breakfast (followed, of course, by cake and the most amazing hot chocolate the world has ever known!) and then a pamper treat of pedicures and facials for us both. Later on, a family meal for Rochelle's birthday followed by a night out on the town (if a night in The White Room counts as a night out on the town!) All in a all, another wonderful day at home with the fam! <3
Day 39 (30/10/2014): Alton Towers Scarefest FUN!
A fabulously fun-filled family day out to Alton Towers for the Scarefest Halloween event and for Rochelle's birthday. I've not been to Alton Towers since 2008 and have been wanting to get back there for years as it is, without a doubt, one of my all time favourite places! The bonus of not having been for so long is getting to experience all the new rides that I've not been on before. All of which were fab.... even if we did have to queue for THREE. WHOLE. HOURS. for one of them (Smiler)! Totally worth it though - not laughed that hard in a long while! That ride was my second favourite part of the day after Tasha being chased by a zombie and her attacking him by drenching him with her drink and launching a doughnut at him! HILARIOUS! The weather was great too (unlike the torrential rain we had the last time I was there six years ago!) Always a bonus! :) We all had a brilliant day and it was lovely for us all to be together given that we live in three different countries and don't get together that often. Happy, happy days! xXx
Day 37 (28/10/2014): Hi There, Manc Land!
