Day 9 (30/9/2014): Tea, Cake and I Need to Learn How to Make the Sky Bluer...
Tea and cake on my balcony after a tiring Tuesday at work. Also the first time since starting this challenge that I've failed to get the shot I wanted. Learning how to make the sky bluer is definitely something I need to work on and learn how to do. Watch this space...

Day 8 (29/9/2014): A Beautiful Bunch
This beautiful bunch of flowers in my kitchen, part of my birthday present from my beautiful bunch of friends who visited this weekend, has been cheering me up today in their absence. Also, as I'd ran out of vases due to the fact my living room looks like a florist with all my birthday flowers, I put them in the stein glass souvenir I bought from Oktoberfest in Munich the weekend before (that glass has multiple uses!) so together, it is a lovely reminder of two consecutively wonderful weekends and two brilliant bunches of friends. #happiness

Day 7 (28/9/2014): Total Tourists
Today I took the girls on more touristy Dutch adventures including a visit to see this lovely windmill around the corner. I have a variety of pictures of this very windmill from various angles, with different groups of people and throughout all seasons and weather conditions but I'm not sure that snapping pics of this lovely little thing will ever get old...
Day 6 (27/9/2014): A Dam Good Day!
After forgetting my memory card AGAIN, (I am seriously terrible at this!) I bought a second while I was out and about and decided I would always keep one in my purse from now on for "emergency" purposes. The guy in the shop said he'd see me again on Monday. Haha. Anyways, the girls and I had a fabulous day, first exploring Den Haag, then later the wonder that is Amsterdam. Despite taking an abundance of scenic snaps (and selfies! Obvs!) throughout the day, this is the one we all decided should be yesterday's photo. And what a beauty it is too! :) I. HEART. AMSTERDAM.

Day 4 (25/9/2014): Cycling Through the Forest
Today turned out to be a glorious day so I decided to cycle through the forest on my way into town after work. Feeling all pleased with myself for taking my camera out with me this morning, (following fellow bloggers' Project 365 advice to have your camera on you at ALL TIMES) I stopped and took out my camera to capture this shot only to find that I was memory card-less! I'd forgotten to put it back in my camera after uploading yesterday's picture last night. Therefore, I had to take this picture on my iPhone instead which is evident in the quality. So that would be my second Project 365 fail in just four days! Oops. Once again, lesson learned...

Day 3 (24/9/2014): A Much Needed Glass of Vino!
A large glass of vino after an exceptionally long day at work! A fun night of fine dining with friends on the Plein before my first experience of ladies' night at the cinema. A joyous Wednesday evening! :)

Day 2 (23/9/2014): The Morning After the Night Before...
Walking into the kitchen this morning to find the messages that were left for me by friends at my party last night - 'MATEY', by Cath, being my fave. Every time I walked into the kitchen, a different word had been made. Who knew you could get so many different words out of the words 'Eat, Drink and Be Merry.' Fun times :)
Day 1 (22/9/2014): 29th Birthday Fun!
Photo #1 featuring moi! (Which is allowed because it's on my birthday and I'll be most likely behind the camera for the next 364 photos...) Also, it's one of the only photos of the evening before my battery died! First Project 365 lesson learned: ALWAYS HAVE THE BATTERY CHARGED!
