Hooray! The fantastic finished product of the Literacy/ Topic project my class have worked their socks off on over the last couple of weeks! They had to write their own information text, including all the features of that genre, encompassing all the knowledge they have learned about The Arctic and Antarctica and their favourite polar animals. Five years olds working on a group project, leading their own learning and organising themselves – stressful to say the least! But I am extremely proud of everything they have achieved individually, socially and academically. Can't wait to see their excited little faces tomorrow when they see their hard work bound, published and on display looking like real life books! They are going be absolutely thrilled and bursting with pride!! :)
Love those kinds of teacher moments - and you get them much more with kids than with adults! Love it when you give a little summary about the photo - be good to do that with more of them!
